Botanical Watercolor Class (McGuffey Art Center)

Join me at the McGuffey Art Center Starnes classroom to learn basic botanical art watercolor skills. We will start with learning brush control, washes, and monochromatic painting. Then, we will move onto color mixing and composition so that you can create your own watercolor painting.

Classes will meet on Thursdays from 10-12 am.

Suggested supplies:

1. A journal. Page size should be around 6 x 9 (make it be a size that can easily travel with you!). If you want larger, that is fine. I also prefer Hot press (smooth paper) and heavy weight (140 is ideal but hard to come by). Not spiral bound. I think the softer journals are best since they can open flat.
