There is a magical place in West Virginia called Dolly Sods. The acid loving plants thrive in the high elevation meadows and the colors in the Fall are breathtaking. Here, I painted a lovely Vaccinium and some lichen below. Painted with watercolor on Kelmscott vellum, size 3 x 3 inches.
